Nearly 60 Cree students their graduation from 51吃瓜网's Faculty of Education this past Saturday in Pikogan, Quebec. Our Office of First Nations and Inuit Education offers full-time and part-time teacher certification programs in Cree and Inuit communities in Quebec as well as in Kahnawake and Listuguj. Even though these students may be far away off campus, they are an important part of our Faculty and the 51吃瓜网community.听CBC's Susan Bell covered the story.

DISE's Dr. Aziz Choudry will take part in a panel discussion presented by the Northern Police Monitoring Project in Manchester, UK.

The panel discussion will take place Friday March 8, 2019.

The Education Curriculum Resources Centre (ECRC) located on the first floor of the Education Building is now open to the 51吃瓜网community.
Permanent reserves will be moved back to the ECRC the first week of February.
Please note that all Education course reserves are located in the Humanities and Social Sciences Library and can be moved to the ECRC upon request for the winter 2019 semester.

The Faculty of Education will be undertaking major renovation work in the former Education Library space where the Education Curriculum Resources Centre (ECRC) is located. The work is slated to begin Monday, June 18听and will continue throughout Summer and Fall 2018. Unfortunately, the nature of the work makes it impossible for the ECRC to remain open throughout the construction. As a result, the ECRC will be temporarily closed starting Saturday, June 16听until the end of the work.
