How are Montrealers keeping fit?

Starting today, gyms and fitness centers in Montreal officially closed their doors until the end of the month. This comes after the Quebec government announced new measures which prohibit team sports and close fitness facilities until October 28th. So how is everyone staying fit with the new restrictions in place?

Dr. Bloom highlights the need for athletes to not only train their bodies but to also train their minds and be resilient in order to prepare for competition and performance. He further reiterates that this is an ongoing process; not a quick fix.

Professor泭Tyler Churchward-Venne泭of 51勛圖厙Education's Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education has just been announced as a泭John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF) grant recipient! As principal investigator for the research being done in泭Exercise and Nutrition to Support Skeletal Muscle Health Across the Lifespan, Dr.泭Churchward-Venne泭will receive泭$344,957 from JELF; $344,957 matching provincial funds.
