Horizon is looking for bold community ideas to decrease costs, generate revenues, trim turnaround times, and increase satisfaction with how 51³Ô¹ÏÍøworks.

What it is

All staff, faculty and students can use the new to submit realistic, well-thought-out proposals that aim to:

  • Save time, funds or work while preserving/enhancing service quality;
  • Generate new net revenue;
  • Improve productivity or efficiency; and/or
  • Make 51³Ô¹ÏÍøa better place to work or study.

Proposals should be specific, constructive and actionable.

How it works

  1. First, build a strong proposal including likely benefits, challenges and resources needed.
    • Include detail: Realistic cost estimates, implementation times, labour resources required, etc.
  2. Submit it through .
    • Strengthen your pitch: Upload additional data, reports or other supporting documentation.
    • Lend a hand: You’ll also be asked to indicate whether – if your idea is approved – you’d like to be part of the team that makes it a reality.
  3. The Horizon Office will review your idea for completeness and feasibility and may reach out to you for more information.
