HJ Jung

Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion;
Associate Professor, Organizational Behaviour

HeeJung (HJ) Jung is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour and the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Director at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. Her research examines how social evaluations shape diversity and inequality in entrepreneurial teams, corporate leadership, and job-search practices, with work published in top-tier management journals and featured in global media such as Time Magazine and Fortune. Since Fall 2024, she has led faculty-wide EDI initiatives that strengthen an inclusive culture across students, staff, and educators at Desautels together. She previously worked as an Associate Professor at Imperial College London and earned her PhD from INSEAD.

Senior Advisor Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

Karrie-Noelle Plohman is an experienced non-profit director and intergroup dialogue facilitator with a long track record of supporting and growing non-profit organizations and programs in the areas of anti-oppressive practice, transformational justice and structural change.

Prior to coming to McGill, Karrie-Noelle spent over twenty years playing key leadership roles in the child welfare and disability sectors where she prioritized community and relationship building as a pathway towards radical change, the institutionalizing of equity practices and transformative growth.

Karrie-Noelle values the principles of transparency, community led movement and revolutionary growth through dialogue.

Stephen De Four-Wyre

Black Inclusion, Success, and Strategic Initiatives (BISSI) Lead - Academic

Stephen De Four-Wyre, B.Mus. (McGill) 2010; B.C.L., LL.B. (McGill) 2014; M.A. (McGill) 2017, was admitted to the Law Society of Ontario in 2016 and the Barreau du Québec (c.l.a.) in 2017. He is an experienced lawyer and university lecturer. At McGill, he teaches courses in business law, employment law, labour law, and immigration law. He also serves as the On-Site Supervisor for Pro Bono Students Canada - McGill. In August 2024, he was appointed as inaugural Anti-Black Racism Lead (now BISSI Lead) at the Desautels Faculty of Management.
