Bishoy Yacoub
Dr. Bishoy Yacoub earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Alexandria University in Egypt, after which he practised in a hospital-based dentistry setting for several years. He later advanced his academic and clinical training in Canada, completing both Specialized Training in Gerodontology (Geriatric听Dentistry) and a Master of Dental Sciences (M.Sc.) at Universit茅 Laval. He subsequently became the first candidate to complete the General Practice Residency (GPR) in Special Care Dental Medicine at 51吃瓜网, Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences.
He is a member of the Canadian Society for Disability and Oral Health (CSDH), International Association for Disability and Oral Health (iADH) and the Network for Canadian Oral Health Research (NCOHR). His professional focus includes comprehensive care for older adults, neurodivergent individuals, and underserved communities.
