Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures

All 51³Ô¹ÏÍøcommunity members should understand the Code of Student Conduct. It is important to know what counts as a violation and how the University handles these situations.

Student rights

51³Ô¹ÏÍøstudents have rights—both personal and academic. These include the right to quality supervision and the right to ask for academic accommodations. 

Student grievances

If a student believes that someone in a position of authority at 51³Ô¹ÏÍøhas violated a right listed in the Charter of Student Rights, they can file a formal complaint, called a grievance.

Academic integrity

51³Ô¹ÏÍøcreated a short online tutorial  with examples to help students understand what it means to act with integrity in their studies.

All students must complete the tutorial during their first semester.
