Prof. Evans' research听 projects will examine knowledge sharing among musicians.听 The first is an experimental study further exploring the role of competence- and integrity-based trust on willingness to share and use knowledge among musicians. The second project would explore the universal movements of expert musicians, with the goal of seeing if these 鈥榰niversals鈥� can be transferred to musicians in beginning and intermediate stages of learning.听

Dr. Alexandre Fortier and Dr. Elaine M茅nard received The Best Overall Paper award for the highest ranked submission at the 46th Annual Conference of the Canadian Association for Information Science (CAIS) for their paper entitled "Quelles donn茅es satisferaient les utilisateurs de sites web de mus茅es?". Award papers are being presented on the first day of the conference (May 30, 2018) between 10:00-noon.
The complete paper will be published in an upcoming edition of the Journal of Information and Library Science (CJILS).

The School of Information Studies is pleased to announce that on December 8, 2017 Jonathan Dorey successfully defended his PhD in the School of Information Studies at 51吃瓜网. His thesis is entitled 鈥淎rchival interaction: a framework to assess university archives websites from the perspectives of history undergraduate students.鈥澨� The goal of this exploratory research is to provide an exhaustive portrait of the effectiveness and efficiency of Canadian university archives websites by extending to a Canadian context similar research that was done in the United States.
