Current research: 

Dr. Jamali's research programs are in the biology of cancer progression to metastasis, anticancer drug pharmacology, and preclinical cancer models for discovery of innovative therapeutics. His laboratory is using advanced genomic technologies to understand metastasis signaling and identify novel targets and selective agents for therapeutic intervention.听Another focus of his research is to听understand and tackle drug resistance mechanisms associated with clinical relapses seen with most clinically used therapeutics.
