Nirenberg Lectures in Geometric Analysis
Biography:听Joshua Zahl is a professor at the Chern Institute of Mathematics, Nankai University, and was previously a faculty member at the University of British Columbia from 2016 to 2025. He is an internationally renowned leading expert in classical harmonic analysis, geometric measure theory, discrete geometry and combinatorial geometry. After receiving his Ph.D.

Pre-Startup Skills: Workshop #3 - Introduction to Industry Analysis
This workshop will introduce the fundamental tool of Industry Analysis which companies use for strategy development. For startups, understanding the industry is a critical step in determining market entry and market positioning. The Five Forces Framework will be presented and applied to during an exercise.
7th Annual Sk谩tne Entewathah铆ta/We Will Walk Together Event
As part of McGill's Indigenous Awareness Weeks, the Faculty of Education will present its annual听Sk谩tne Entewathah铆ta/We Will Walk Together Event for Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The event will include opening words from Indigenous leaders and allies, a Land-Based activity hosted by AJ Esquega, and a digital Indigenous Art Tour of pieces on public display at McGill.
Pre-Startup Skills: Workshop #4 - Market Research and Analysis of Competition
This workshop will provide an overview of the different types of market research, how to analyze the competition, and the resources available at 51吃瓜网to perform market research. Our market research librarian will walk us through some of those resources using a new market research canvas tool.
Pre-Startup Skills: Workshop #5 - Foundations of IP and Patent Searching
This workshop will demystify and explain the various form of intellectual property (IP), namely, patents, industrial designs, copyright, trademarks, and trade secrets. We will then do some actual patent searching using the DERWENT worldwide patent database.听
