Guidelines and submission form for letter(s) of support

The goal of the President’s Prize for Public Engagement through Media is to recognize outstanding achievement by members of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøcommunity who share their knowledge with the media and the general public, enhancing the University's reputation. They play a vital role in supporting 51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s commitment to serving society and engaging with the broader community.

For applicants

Applicants are judged in four (4) ²¹°ù±ð²¹²õ: â¶Ä¯â¶Ä¯

  • Knowledge sharing through traditional media   
  • Knowledge sharing through social media    
  • Public engagement    
  • Activities that have an impact on society    

A maximum of two (2) letters of support is permitted. Letters of support must be submitted by their authors. They may be written in either French or English. They should not exceed 500 words.

If you do not have a 51³Ô¹ÏÍøemail address, please send your letter(s) of support to communications.prize [at] mcgill.ca

Letters must be submitted by December 31, 2025, at midnight.
