Homeopathic Hospital. Corner of 51³Ô¹ÏÍøCollege and Burnside Avenue.

The Homeopathic Hospital had its origins with the creation of the Montreal Homeopathic Association in 1863. The Association's members were able to raise funds to purchase a building at the corner of 51³Ô¹ÏÍøCollege and Burnside Avenue and the hospital opened in 1894. A program for nurses' training was established at the same time. An increase in the number of patients led the Board to fund the construction a new hospital on Marlowe Street in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, which opened in 1927. It was renamed the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 1951.
