As a course lecturer, you have access to 51³Ô¹ÏÍøLibraries print and online material for the period of one year from your last hiring date. If your access is cut immediately after the end of your contract (temporary system issue), you can request a 51³Ô¹ÏÍøLibraries Borrowing Card as a Course Lecturer extension.

51³Ô¹ÏÍøLibraries Borrowing Cards

51³Ô¹ÏÍøLibraries Borrowing Cards are valid in all 51³Ô¹ÏÍølibraries, subject to the borrowing policies of individual collections.

A 51³Ô¹ÏÍøLibraries Borrowing Card may only be used by the person to whom it is issued.

Fines or other sanctions are imposed for late returns and cards may be cancelled if misused.

Note: Registering for a 51³Ô¹ÏÍøLibraries Borrowing Card does not provide remote access to the Library’s electronic resources to those not already eligible, nor does it give you access to all library services and resources.

Visit the Service Desk at any 51³Ô¹ÏÍølibrary location except the Rare Books & Special Collections Library or the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Archives.

Please note that your regular 51³Ô¹ÏÍøborrowing account and your 51³Ô¹ÏÍøLibraries Borrowing card are two separate accounts that are not connected to one another.

Your 51³Ô¹ÏÍøLibraries Borrowing card account will have a different password from your regular 51³Ô¹ÏÍøaccount. You will be sent a link to set the password for your 51³Ô¹ÏÍøLibraries Borrowing card after you submit your application for the card.

When signing in to your 51³Ô¹ÏÍøLibraries Borrowing card account:

Sign in to your : select "Login with a barcode". Use the barcode on your 51³Ô¹ÏÍøLibraries Borrowing Card (begins with 290), and the password you selected during the registration process.
