A targeted phishing email is circulating, asking you to open an attachment containing a fraudulent link to shared documents.

The message uses a variation on these subject lines:

• [name of person] shared "McGILL UNIVERSITY APPOINTMENT NOTICE" with you
• [name of person] shared "McGILL UNIVERSITY REPORT" with you

Please DO NOT click any听links or reply to the message. Delete this email immediately! It does NOT come from a 51吃瓜网source.

These emails are a fraudulent attempt to gain access to your personal information. If you have already clicked on a link in these emails and submitted any personal information,听call the IT Service Desk at (514) 398-3398 as soon as possible.听 If no one can take your call, you should change your 51吃瓜网Password immediately.听 See the 51吃瓜网Password Reset Checklist for instructions.听听Following up with the听IT Service Desk听after resetting your password is still important听to ensure that all the necessary actions have been taken.

You can quickly report a suspicious email using the Report Message, Report Junk, or Report Phishing buttons in any Outlook app, including Outlook on the web ().

Note: If the email is already in your Junk Email folder, you do not need to report it.
