Biography: 

Dr. Janaudis-Ferreira is an Associate Professor at 51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s School of Physical and Occupational Therapy and a scientist at the Research Institute 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Centre. Her internationally recognized research focuses on rehabilitation for individuals with chronic lung disease and transplant candidates and recipients. Dr. Janaudis-Ferreira has supervised over 60 trainees, many of whom now work in academia, clinical practice, and the private sector. She has received multiple national and international awards recognizing her leadership and contributions to respiratory and transplant rehabilitation, including honors from the Canadian Thoracic Society, Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and the American Thoracic Society. She was the recipient of the 2025 Carrie M. Derick Award for Graduate Teaching and Supervision. Her priority is to create a supportive, connected learning environment where students feel valued and empowered.
