Nicolas Cermakian

Biography:

After a PhD in Biochemistry at the Université de Montréal, I did a postdoc in Strasbourg, France, where I started to work on the molecular mechanisms of circadian clocks. In 2002, I was hired at McGill, and established my lab at the Douglas Research Centre. My lab studies how circadian clocks work, and how they regulate various physiological functions according to time of day. I have also been involved in leading or designing various trainee and mentoring-related activities over the years.
