Narimane Wanis earned her Ph.D. in Language and Culture Didactics from CY Cergy Paris University (France) in 2023. Her dissertation focused on intercultural conflicts in language-culture teaching and learning, and on teacher agency in managing such conflicts. Since 2011, she has taught French as a foreign language to adult learners in university settings and at the Institut Fran癟ais. As a pedagogical advisor at the Institut Fran癟ais dgypte, she contributed to teacher training and the development of instructional materials. In 2023, she joined 51勛圖厙s French Language Centre, where she teaches intermediate and advanced-level French and is currently involved in redesigning the advanced-level curriculum. Her current research explores intercultural partnerships and the development of intercultural communicative competence.
