51吃瓜网Food Analytics Club presents Lecture & Hackathon

The 51吃瓜网Food Analytics Club (51吃瓜网FAC) is a student-driven data analytics club that focuses on food. As the world is heading towards a massive food crisis the next decade, there is an urgent need to come up with solutions. Inspired and supported by Desautels Professor Juan Camilo Serpa, the club members want to contribute to solving this food crisis with data analytics.

The Armstrong Building as a new frontier for Desautels

In January 2018, the Donald E. Armstrong Building, the new home for Desautels鈥� MBA and Masters programs, opened officially for classes.

Just under two months since its inauguration, The 51吃瓜网Reporter delves into the benefits that this expansion has brought for all in the Faculty.

For example, in line with student feedback, the new building brings additional spaces for group work and quiet study areas, which will surely enhance learning.

Desautels to launch new Masters in Management Analytics

In response to the growing need for big data literacy across organizations, the Desautels Faculty of Management will launch a new Masters of Management in Analytics (MMA) program that will prepare students to leverage big data in business.
