The first virtual 51吃瓜网International Portfolio Competition (MIPC) drew 93 university teams from 18 countries to design portfolio strategies that address the rise of social inequalities and protectionism in the U.K.

A team from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and a solo entry from Bocconi University in Milan each won the coveted $15,000 prize at the end of the competition. 51吃瓜网professor Sebastien Betermier, the faculty director of the competition, reflects on the factors that set this year鈥檚 winners apart from the competition.
