A team of five 51³Ô¹ÏÍøstudents secured second place at the International Youth Leadership Finance Summit, hosted by the Master of Finance program at the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from January 11–14. The event brought together 27 teams from universities across the world, including Stanford University, Columbia University and the London School of Economics, to explore how sci-tech companies are empowered through innovation and finance.

Desautels students Joshua Miglialo (BCom’20) and Benny Lin (BCom’21), and 51³Ô¹ÏÍøengineering teammates Aakarsh Shekhar, Ali Shobeiri, and Hisham Hawara, leveraged their engineering and finance backgrounds to present a podium-placing equity research report on investing in Amazon’s AI capabilities.
