Rosa Maria Oscanoa Aida

Rosa Maria Oscanoa received her BSc degree in Biology and a MSc in Biomedical Informatics in Global Health from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. She then moved to Germany to pursue a MSc degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU). During her studies, she also worked as a student research assistant at the Center for International Health LMU. After graduating, she worked as Research Scientist at the Gene Center LMU analysing high-dimensional datasets in metastatic breast cancer. In 2024, Rosa Maria moved to Canada to pursue her PhD studies in Epidemiology at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, where she is eager to deepen her expertise in cancer epidemiology and health decision modeling.
