Published: 6 June 2025

The Department of Bioengineering invites you to come to the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøLibraries and examine digital 3D reconstructions of rare objects preserved in various Montreal museums! Using touch tables the size of a TV screen installed at the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering, and the McLennan Library Building, you can zoom and rotate 3D models as part of a virtual natural history museum. To access the exhibit, visitÌý the large touch tables at theÌýSchulich Library (ground floor, in front of the elevators)Ìýand at theÌýMcLennan Library Building (main floor, lobby).

Our very own Prof.ÌýNatalie ReznikovÌýwas the PI on the project! The project initiativeÌýarose from a collection of CT scans of various animals assembled in Prof. Reznikov’s lab at 51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s Department of Bioengineering.

We hope to see you there!
