A little over a year ago, we invited students to apply to join our new Student Usability Panel. We were looking to form an advisory group of students to participate in activities and discussions to evaluate McGill’s websites and services.Â
A panel of 13 students with diverse representation from across McGill’s student body was formed from the over 100 applications received. A big thank you to all who applied!
We're grateful for the opportunity to engage with students in longer-term UX studies spanning months (possibly years!)
2024/25 panel activities
The panel has met monthly since September 2024. Members have also participated in several independent exercises. Through these interactions panel members have shared insights into their experiences in our digital spaces, helping us make informed decisions to improve our sites, services and other digital communications.
