Meet with project teams who have received support from the Sustainability Projects F und (SPF)\, as well as student and faculty researchers funded by the McGil l Sustainability Systems Initiative (MSSI).\n\nAccessibility\n\nThomson Ho use is located on a steep section of McTavish Street\, but it is accessibl e by car. Station Peel (Green Line of Metro) and Peel / Du Docteur-Penfiel d (Bus #107) are the nearest public transit points. You can use the McGill Interactive Accessibility Network Map to determine the best route for you .\n\nThomson House is wheelchair accessible via a ramp adjacent to the bui lding's parking lot. The washrooms in the Ballroom are wheelchair accessib le\, but they are not gender-neutral. There are two gender-neutral\, singl e occupancy washrooms located on the first floor\, with a third gender-neu tral\, single occupancy washroom located on the fourth floor (one floor ab ove the Ballroom\, which is on the third floor). These three washrooms are accessible via a small elevator. Since the building is used for multiple purposes\, Thomson House cannot guarantee a scent-free environment\, but w e ask that you refrain from applying scented products such as perfumes\, c ologne\, and shampoo prior to attending this event. The 51³Ô¹ÏÍøSustainability Systems Initiative (MS SI) seeks to mobilize 51³Ô¹ÏÍøresearchers around sustainability challenges and equip the next generation with the skills needed to address these issu es. In its novel approach\, the MSSI provides opportunities for researcher s from very different disciplines to interact and co-design projects that address complex problems from a variety of perspectives.
