Overview

Nursing Education : Introduction to fundamental concepts in psychopathology, as well as psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and intervention. Emphasis placed on advanced practice nursing competencies integrated in mental health care of patients. Objectives also include relevant legal aspects when presented with a patient at risk for violent or dangerous behaviour.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2024-2025 academic year.
