Prof. Lamontagne's interests are directed toward the assessment and treatment of mobility disorders in persons with an acquired brain injury such as stroke and traumatic brain injury. She is conducting research projects on the use of virtual and mixed reality technologies for the assessment of walking dysfunctions and the rehabilitation of community walking abilities following stroke. She also has ongoing projects that involve neuroimaging, as well as music-supported therapy to enhance upper extremity function. Her research laboratory is at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital, a McGill-affiliated research site of CRIR.
Prof. Lamontagne is funded by NSERC, CIHR and CFI.
Prof. Lamontagne is supervising students in Rehabilitation Science and IPN. She is considering applications for PhD and postdoctoral positions in her lab, depending on funding availability.
