 io\n\nMajid Ezzati is a professor of Global Environmental Health at the Im
 perial College London where he directs an interdisciplinary research progr
 amme in global health and population health. He leads the NCD Risk Factor 
 Collaboration and co-leads NCD Countdown 2030\, worldwide collaborations t
 hat aim to provide empirical evidence for more effective and equitable pre
 vention and management of non-communicable diseases. He also leads Pathway
 s to Equitable Healthy Cities\, a global partnership that aims to enhance 
 health equity in cities around the world. Ezzati trained in electrical and
  computer engineering at McMaster and 51³Ô¹ÏÍøUniversities\, before doing a
  Ph.D. in Science\, Technology and Environmental Policy at Princeton Unive
 rsity and a Global Health Leadership Fellowship at the World Health Organi
 zation. He is a fellow of the UK Academy of Medical Sciences.\n\nJoin on Z
