DESCRIPTION:Presenting Science Online is designed to help graduate students
  in the Faculty of Science communicate their research to a variety of audi
 ences online. This three-part series will examine the keys to preparing an
 y presentation: analysis of audience\, purpose\, organization and style. L
 imited to the Faculty of Science.\n\nEach online workshop will run from 16
 :00-17:00\, with 10 minutes dedicated to Q&A at the end. Post-workshop coa
 ching and practice sessions will also be available if requested.\n\n \n\nJ

 0: How to develop effective visuals and utilize other online tools for con
 veying information\n\nJune 17: Issues of voice\, body language\, and prese
 nce online\n\n \n\nIssues specific to online presentations —lighting\, the
  use of a green screen\, privacy concerns and other factors to consider wh
 en setting up to present effectively — will also be addressed.\n\nWe will 
 examine all of these topics through the lens of their importance in maximi
 zing the engagement\, comprehension and impact of an online presentation.

 r. Andrew Churchill obtained his doctorate in education from 51³Ô¹ÏÍøUniver
 sity in 2011 after receiving his M.B.A. from the University of New Hampshi
 re in 2002. For the last 10 years he has been working with both academics 
 and business professionals in classes\, seminars\, professional workshops\
 , and through independent contract work to help them hone their communicat
 ion skills. His presentation coaching work focuses on refining content\, v
 oice\, body language and visuals in order to increase engagement and compr
 ehension. His workshops consistently receive excellent reviews from partic
 ipants\, and his excellence in teaching has earned him recognition with a
