Starting today, August 19, 51吃瓜网students have free access to the latest version of Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office apps. You may download and install it on up to five compatible personal devices, including PCs, Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Android smartphones and tablets.

As long as you鈥檙e a student at 51吃瓜网, you鈥檒l be able to continue to use Office 365 ProPlus at no charge, and will receive automatic software updates.

IT Services will roll out additional features of Office 365 in future phases, including:

• 1 terabyte (TB) of online storage for your files in OneDrive
• Improved email functionality, and a massive boost in storage space for your 51吃瓜网email
  (it will increase from 300MB to 50GB)

Updates on the status of this project will be provided on a regular basis throughout the year on the 51吃瓜网IT Services site and my51吃瓜网portal.

As part of the initiation of the Office 365 project, a wide range of security and privacy concerns were addressed. We want to assure you that while you do log in at Microsoft鈥檚 Office 365 download site with your 51吃瓜网Username and Password, the credentials are verified through 51吃瓜网servers and are not kept by Microsoft.
