Cardiovascular and respiratory diseases account for a significant proportion of global morbidity and mortality, placing an immense burden on healthcare systems and economies in Quebec, across Canada, and worldwide. At 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, pioneering research in this field enables the development of innovative treatments and preventive strategies, significantly improving patient outcomes and quality of life. By exploring the molecular, genetic, and clinical aspects of cardiovascular and respiratory health, our research contributes to shaping precision medicine approaches, facilitating early detection, and driving advancements in personalized therapies.

Orientation Week for MDCM students took place from August 19 to 21, 2025.

This year, we welcome a record 250 new medical students, with 212 beginning their training in Montreal and 38 at Campus Outaouais. Orientation activities began with a full day one program that brought together students from both campuses, fostering a strong sense of community from the very start. A warm welcome to the MDCM Class of 2029!
