 petition for large scale applied research in agriculture and agri-food.\n
 \nGenome Canada LSARP competition will support projects focused on using g
 enomic approaches to address challenges and opportunities of importance to
  Canada’s agriculture and agri-food. It will target applied research proje
 cts with a total budget between $2M and $10M\, over a period of 4 years. P
 rojects must have concrete deliverables at the end of the funding period a
 s well as concrete and measurable short-term socio-economic benefits (3 to
  5 years after the end of the project) with a defined and realistic knowle
 dge transfer plan.\n\nA representative of Genome Quebec will present the p
 rogram\, its intended scope and its process.There will be a Question and A
 nswer period.\n\nResearchers interested in this opportunity who would like
