 \n\nDate: Wednesday May 28\, 2025\n\nTime: 1:30-3:00pm\n\nThis session wil
 l be hosted virtually – link and password will be provided to those who RS
 VP\n\nThe purpose of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (
 SSHRC) Insight Grant Program is to provide stable support ranging from $7\
 ,000 to $400\,000 for research excellence and long-term research initiativ
 es of two to five years\, for both emerging and established scholars in th
 e social sciences and humanities.\n\nResearchers who are planning to apply
  to the October 2025 SSHRC Insight Grants (IG) competition are encouraged 
 to attend this information session\, which will include:\n\n\n	A presentati
 on about the SSHRC IG program objectives and application requirements\, as
  well as 51³Ô¹ÏÍøinstitutional support and timelines\, including tips and t
 ools to tailor your applications for success by Joanna Mastalerek (Senior 
 Grants and Agreements Officer\, OSR) and Preeti Purba-Singh (Grants and Ag
 reements Officer\, OSR)\n	Presentations from Dr. Katherine Lemons (Professo
 r\, Department of Anthropology) and Dr. Jaye Ellis (Faculty of Law)\, who 
 have both served as SSHRC merit review committee members\n\n\n \n\nBoth pr
 esenters will share information about the SSHRC IG evaluation and merit sy
 stem and strategies for preparing a successful proposal.\n\nThose who are 
 unable to attend and/or those who prefer to share information or questions
