DESCRIPTION:   In anticipation of the launch of the Quartier de l’innovatio
 n of Montreal\, its sponsors — École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) and M
 cGill University\, in collaboration with the City of Montreal — are organi
 zing the second edition of the Montreal Summit on Innovation\, focusing on
  'Innovative Districts.'        This conference with experts and represent
 atives from major innovative districts projects in Canada and abroad will 
 feature presentations on selected innovative districts from around the wor
 ld and a panel discussion with international experts.  This edition of the
  Montreal Summit on Innovation aims to define best practices for the creat
 ion\, leadership\, operation\, and evaluation of innovative districts whil
 e identifying the factors that contribute to the success or failure of the
 se initiatives. In also hopes to lay the groundwork for future internation
 al collaboration at the QI and for a continuous exchange of ideas among le
 aders in the field on fundamental questions affecting innovative districts
