The plight of amphibians became front -page news and the newly generated interest in their population biology ge nerated a massive increase in our understanding of their ecology\, epidemi ology and conservation biology.\n\nTo mark three decades of research into amphibian population declines and Canada’s pivotal contributions to this i mportant research initiative\, we are holding an international symposium o n amphibian ecology and conservation biology to bring together many of the principle researchers now making significant advances in the field. The s ymposium will run all day Friday\, September 20th\, 2019\, just before the CHS meeting officially kicks off. It will feature 16 invited speakers and finish with an open question period and discussion.\n\nAdmission to the s ymposium is free. However\, space is limited. Register here. \n\n \n DTSTART:20190920T123000Z DTEND:20190920T210000Z LOCATION:Redpath Museum\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 0C4\, 859 rue Sherbrooke Ouest SUMMARY:Canadian Herpetological Society Symposium: Global Amphibian Populat ion Declines URL:/redpath/channels/event/canadian-herpetological-so ciety-symposium-global-amphibian-population-declines-300078 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
