Would you like to learn traditional skills like building snow shelters, foraging for edible plants, making salves, andÌýwood carving?. Join educators from the for fourÌýinteractive learning workshops givenÌýonce a month at the Redpath Museum during the fall!

These workshops are given on TuesdaysÌýover lunch from 12h00 to 13h00. We do not provide lunch at these workshops, so please bring your own lunch.

Bilingual. For adults and students 16 years old and over.

COST for each workshop:ÌýÌý$10.00 (+ tax) per adultÌý/ $5.00 (+ tax) per student-senior.

Payable when you arrive at the start of the workshop. All workshops start in the entrance hall of the Redpath Museum. Some will be held outdoors.

Space is limitedÌýand advance registration is required at least one week before the workshop.

Land Acknowledgement

Rematriation, Repatriation and Restitution Statement

We acknowledge that the return and restitution of cultural and natural heritage to communities of origin is an essential part of reconciliation and of recognizing the fundamental rights of Indigenous Peoples. As part of wider efforts to activate the standards presented in the Canadian Museums Association Report Moved to Action: Activating UNDRIP in Canadian Museums (2022), the Redpath is working towards pro-active restitution practices. As per our Collections Management Policy (2024), repatriation requests will be received by the Redpath Museum Director and will be treated on a case-by-case basis.
