 ng three-dimensional data at high throughput is a grand challenge in micro
 scopy. We propose and demonstrate a novel solution to enable the collectio
 n of 3D positions in thousands of cells each minute by merging two technol
 ogies: point-spread-function engineering and imaging flow cytometry. We ap
 ply this approach to track nanoscale dynamics in cell populations respondi
 ng to drug treatments and undergoing environmental changes with robust sta
 tistics. Finally\, I will discuss future opportunities of deploying flow-b
 ased\, single-cell techniques in tandem for elucidating cell mechanisms an
 d in building sensitive diagnostic tools.\n
