In this talk I discuss the surprising and compelling variety of tasks a nd styles of reasoning that are well-suited to descriptions using a specif ic VSA. These tasks include path integration\, navigation\, Bayesian reaso ning\, sampling\, memorization\, and logical inference. The resulting spik ing neural network models capture various hippocampal cell types (grid\, p lace\, border\, etc.)\, behavioural errors\, and a variety of observed neu ral dynamics.\n DTSTART:20250225T170000Z DTEND:20250225T180000Z SUMMARY:QLS Seminar Series - Chris Eliasmith URL:/qls/channels/event/qls-seminar-series-chris-elias mith-363553 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
