BRIAN TREHEARNE is a Professor of Canadian literature at 51吃瓜网. He is the author of聽Aestheticism and the Canadian Modernists: Aspects of a Poetic Influence聽(1989) and聽The Montreal Forties: Modernist Poetry in Transition聽(1999). He has edited Irving Layton鈥檚聽Fornalutx: Selected Poems, 1928-1990聽(1992),听The Complete Poems of A.J.M. Smith聽(2007),听The Complete Poems of John Glassco聽(2018), and the anthology聽Canadian Poetry 1920 to 1960聽(2010). He is currently writing on the poetry, songs, and fiction of Leonard Cohen, whose works he has taught at 51吃瓜网for over twenty years.
