His debut book\, The Mechanical Bird (Sig nal\, 2007)\, received the Canadian Authors Association Prize for Poetry\, and his cycle 'The Workshop' won the 2004 CBC/enRoute Literary Award. His work has appeared in collections such as The New Canon: An Anthology of C anadian Poetry\, the Oxford-Poetry Broadside Series\, and The Best Canadia n Poetry in English\, 2009 and 2012. His latest chapbook is Field Notes fr om the Undead (Interludes Press\, 2018). Boxer is founder of the globally recognized Montreal International Poetry Prize.\n\nMarc Di Saverio’s poems and translations have appeared in such publications as CNQ\, Maisonneuve\ , Hazlitt\, and Partisan. Poet and critic Shane Neilson acknowledged Di Sa verio's first book\, Sanatorium Songs (Palimpsest\, 2010) as one of the mo st compelling debuts of the last two decades. Di Saverio was recognized am ong the top ten of the world's finest English language haiku poets in 2011 by Simply Haiku Magazine\, and in 2016\, Di Saverio was recipient of the City of Hamilton Arts Award For Best Emerging Writer. Ship of Gold: the Es sential Poems of Émile Nelligan appeared in 2017 through Montréal’s Véhicu le Press.
