 rovides an introduction to the ADOS-2\, an assessment tool used to help wi
 th diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder across ages\, developmental level
 s\, and language skills. The workshop covers modules 1\, 2\, 3 and 4 and t
 he Toddler module.\n\nThis workshop includes discussion about:\n\n\n	the us
 e of the ADOS-2 toward making a clinical diagnosis\;\n	issues related to di
 agnosis of ASD\, including differential diagnosis\, diagnosis in context\,
  complex clinical situations\, and report writing\;\n	administration\, scor
 ing\, and use of ADOS-2 algorithms\;\n	current research on ADOS-2.\n\n\nAbo
 ut the Trainer: Mandy Steiman is a clinical psychologist and expert diagno
 stician of autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders. She completed 
 her doctorate and post-doctorate studies at the University of Washington\,
  and has worked at the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Centre (MUHC) since 2006. 
 She currently holds a clinical position at the Montreal Children’s Hospita
 l and a research position through the MUHC’s Research Institute (RI-MUHC).
  Dr. Steiman contributes to quality assurance and helps develop integrated
  research/clinical protocols run through ACAR Clinic\, including the Q1K P
 roject (Quebec 1\,000 Families). Dr. Steiman is also a certified trainer f
 or autism diagnostic measures (ADOS-2 and ADI-R) and has much experience s
 upervising and training professionals on best practices for autism diagnos
 is.\n\nAbout ACAR: The Neuro’s Azrieli Centre for Autism Research (ACAR) t
 ransforms research\, training and care to improve the quality of life of a
 utistic people and their families. Established in 2017 thanks to the Azrie
 li Foundation\, ACAR operates in the spirit of Open Science\, inclusion an
 d community collaboration. The state-of-the-art research centre is committ
 ed to advancing understanding of the mechanisms underlying autism and rela
 ted conditions\, developing new diagnostic tools and effective interventio
 ns through translational research and integrated care\, and training the n
