His original publication on this subject\, w hich has more than 2000 citations\, changed the way we think about memory formation and retrieval. Dr. Nader’s work has also lead to the development of new treatment for cognitive disorders\, specifically for post-traumati c stress disorder (PTSD).\n\nThe symposium program will incorporate discus sion time\, active facilitation of participation by young scientists and t rainees\, as well as unstructured time between scientific sessions for in- depth\, spontaneous discussions.
