To celebrate its 10th Anniversary, MURA will host the 2025 National Conference of the College and University Retiree Associations of Canada ().
The theme is The Well-being of the Person, the Community, and the Planet.
ÌýWe look forward to welcoming MURA and CURAC members and their guests who have registered to attend the conference. They will have an excellent opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and make new acquaintances from across Canada, and partake in presentations by local academics based on the conference theme. This will be the first CURAC conference with simultaneous translation.
Please note that the maximum number of in-person participants has been reached. If you wish to be placed on a waitlist, use the registration form for attending in person.
There is no limit for virtual attendance.

Professor Anja Geitmann
Vice-President Global Engagement
Professor Geitmann was appointed Vice-President, Global Engagement at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, Montréal, Québec, Canada, in October 2024 after serving as ProfessorÌýof Plant Science, and Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences since 2015.ÌýShe brings the lived experience of studying and working in six different countries, leadership roles in multinational collaborative research initiatives, and service on panels of international research funding organizations.

Osler Library of the History of Medicine
Join the staff of the Osler Library of the History of Medicine for the launch ofÌý. In this compelling dual biography,ÌýGlobe and MailÌýjournalistÌýEric Andrew-GeeÌýweaves together the rich history of The Neuro with that of Dr. Wilder Penfield and Dr. William Cone to reveal the untold story of the birthplace of neuroscience. In doing so, he breathes new life into a familiar hero and revives the oft-forgotten, tragic story of his partner, writing Dr. William Cone back into the historical record at last. Books will be on sale courtesy of Paragraphe Bookstore.
