  X-ray diagnostic techniques which find applications in leading-edge biome
 dical\, advanced materials\, batteries\, fuel-cell\, agriculture\, and env
 ironmental studies. This talk focuses on beamlines for X-ray imaging and m
 icrotomography. Examples of high-spatial resolution\, multiscale\, high-th
 roughput\, fast time-resolved\, in-vivo\, and operando imaging will be sho
 wn. Practical aspects and challenges associated with using the synchrotron
  radiation will be discussed.\n
