This collaboration aims to offer a series of free conferences on neurocognitive disorders.\n \nThese 45-minute lectures will be followed by a 15-minute question period . They are intended for both members of AVC-Aphasie Laval and the communit y. Offered in hybrid mode\, it will be possible to attend via Zoom or to r eserve a place on the organization's premises.\n\nPlease note that the con ferences will be presented in English in the morning and in French in the afternoon.\n\nSupporting caregivers of people with neurocognitive disorder s \n June 28\, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. (in English) and 1:30 p.m. (in French)\n \nMrs. Claire Webster will share practical advice on how to care for a per son living with dementia. She will discuss important considerations to ens ure the safety and well-being of both the individual as well as the care p artner to help families understand and access the resources needed to navi gate this disease.\n\nMrs. Claire Webster is a Certified Dementia Care Con sultant (PAC)\, Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA)\, as wel l as a conference speaker and educator in the field of caring for an indiv idual with dementia. She is Founder and President of Caregiver Crosswalk I nc.\, a consulting firm that provides education and support services to he lp individuals navigate the journey of Alzheimer’s disease and/or dementia -related illnesses. Claire works in collaboration with 51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Division of Geriatric Med icine. She is the Founder and Ambassador of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøDementia Education Program and 51³Ô¹ÏÍøCares\, a webcast series designed to support family car e partners.
