 tion Program\, will explore topics related to caring for a loved one with 
 dementia.\n\nLaunch of a New Educational Guide for People Living with Deme
 ntia and their Care Partners\n\nWe are thrilled to announce that on Octobe
 r 20\, we will launch a free new 51³Ô¹ÏÍøeducational resource: Dementia\, Y
 our Companion Guide. With engaging illustrations and a friendly writing st
 yle\, this approachable guide covers a wide array of topics to assist both
  the person living with dementia and their care partners. It includes info
 rmation on the science and progression of dementia as well as practical ad
 vice on safety and self-care.\n\nThe guide was created by the multidiscipl
 inary 51³Ô¹ÏÍøDementia Education Program (DEP) team\, with content provided
  by former caregiver Ms. Claire Webster\, geriatrician Dr. José A. Morais 
 and neurologist Dr. Serge Gauthier. The booklet was made possible thank to
  a generous donation of $250\,000 from the Grace Dart Foundation.\n\nDurin
 g this special edition of 51³Ô¹ÏÍøCares\, Elise Nesbitt\, President of the 
 Grace Dart Foundation\, will be joined by the following members of the DEP
  team who are leading this initiative to introduce this new educational of
 fering that will be available in English and French\, online and in print.
 \n\n\n	Ms. Elise Nesbitt is an entrepreneur and board member of various Mon
 treal non-profit organizations. Recently\, she has focused most of her att
 ention on the aging population within the Montreal community and the grass
 -roots organizations that are finding solutions and services to meet their
  needs.\n	Dr. Serge Gauthier is Professor Emeritus in the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøFaculty of
  Medicine and Health Sciences and former Director of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøCentre for
  Studies in Aging.\n	Dr. José A. Morais is Director of the Division of Geri
 atric Medicine at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø\, the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Centre 
 and the Jewish General Hospital.\n	Professor Isabelle Gélinas is Associate 
 Professor and Graduate Program Director at the School of Physical and Occu
 pational Therapy at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø.\n\n\nThis free webcast is open to a
