She cared for her late husband who died of Alzheimer’s Disease in 2014. Mrs. Reitman currently serves as a board member for several organizations\, including the Cummings Jewish C entre for Seniors Foundation\, and serves as Co-chair\, Alzheimer’s Resear ch for a Cure at the Montreal Jewish General Hospital Foundation.\n\nMr. A ndré Charron is a vice-president and portfolio manager at an investment ma nagement firm who lost his father to Alzheimer's Disease in 2011. He and h is family have given generously to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation in honour of his father. Mr. Charron sits on the Board of Directors at the Jewish General Hospital Foundation and is Vice-Chair to its $250 million capital campaign.\n\nMrs. Reitman and Mr. Charron are both Ambassadors of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøDementia Education Program.
