Join us as Claire Webster interviews Dr. Serge Gauthier and Dr. José Morais. They will describe dementia and provide advice on how to care for a loved one who is living with dementia. They will also discuss how to safely access services.

Claire Webster is a Certified Alzheimer Care Consultant, Conference Speaker and Educator. She is the Program Founder and Ambassador for the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøDementia Education Program and 51³Ô¹ÏÍøCares, a weekly webcast series designed to support family caregivers. She is also President of Caregiver Crosswalk, a consulting firm that provides education and support services to help individuals navigate dementia-related illnesses.

Dr. Serge Gauthier is the Director of the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Research Unit of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Research Centre for Studies in Aging and Academic Co-Lead of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøDementia Education Program. He is also a Professor in the Departments of Neurology & Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, and Medicine at the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøFaculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Dr. José Morais is Professor and Director of Geriatric Medicine at the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøFaculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Centre and the Jewish General Hospital. In addition to being Academic Lead of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍøDementia Education Program, he is Co-Director of the Quebec Network for Research on Aging and past President of the Canadian Geriatrics Society.
