DESCRIPTION:We are recruiting volunteers to host a workshop and/or be part 
 of a career panel session at the annual Discovery Day in Health Sciences o
 n December 6\, 2022. \n\nHosted by the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame (CMHF
 )\, in partnership with the 51łÔąĎÍř Faculty of Medicine and Heal
 th Sciences and The Neuro\, this national program aims to educate and insp
 ire grade 9-11 students who are curious about careers in health sciences\,
  medicine\, nursing\, regulated health professions\, and more. Youth engag
 ement and outreach are important to Canada’s medicine and health sciences 
 faculties and your willingness to participate is greatly appreciated.\n\nW
 e welcome participation from faculty\, trainees\, staff\, and students.\n
 \nThe day will consist of a keynote lecture\, interactive workshops\, and 
 a career panel discussion.\n\nUse this online CALL FOR PRESENTERS FORM to 
 volunteer as a:\n\n\n	WORKSHOP PRESENTER (10:00 AM – 11:30 A.M. AND 12:30 –
  2:00 P.M.)\n\n\n	Coordinate and lead an interactive and stimulating sessio
 n\n	Workshops take place 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.\n	Presente
 rs can sign up for either or both time slots (same presentation with two d
 ifferent groups of high school students)\n	Workshops can be held in the pre
 senter’s office/laboratory or in a room at the McIntyre Medical Building (
 please indicate in the form if you would like us to book a room at the McI
 ntyre)\n\n\n\n	CAREER PANELIST (2:15 – 3:15 P.M.)\n\n\n	The “Health Pros Tel
 l All” career panel discussion comprises health care academics/professiona
 ls from various fields who will each have several minutes to share with th
 e entire audience their story of how they got to where they are today. A Q
 &A session will follow the discussion.\n\n\n\n	DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: Fr

 s and are an important part of how they explore their career options. We t
