Dr. Karpati was celebrated for advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and understanding of neuromuscular diseases, especially muscular dystrophy. Each year, his colleagues host this lecture to highlight recent progress in neuromuscular research and care, paying tribute to a beloved friend, mentor, and scientific leader.
Dorothy J. Killam Lecture: Neuromodulation, Acclimation and the Effects of the Environment on Rhythmic Motor Systems
The Neuro's Dorothy J. Killam Lecture was established in 2004 to recognize women of influence in business, science, politics or the humanities.聽Eve Marder, Victor and Gwendolyn Beinfield Professor of Biology at Brandeis University, will deliver the 2026 Dorothy J. Killam lecture. A cocktail reception will follow for in-person registered attendees.

The 27th聽Annual Neuropsychology Day and Brenda Milner Lecture honours the career and achievements of Professor Brenda Milner, an eminent cognitive neuroscientist and pioneer of the discipline of neuropsychology. Ulman Lindenberger, Managing Director of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development will deliver the Brenda Milner Lecture.
