Three Mac-based research projects have been funded through FQRNT/MAPAQ鈥檚 first Partnership Research Program-Sustainable Agriculture . All of the projects fall under the scientific program developed by the R茅seau qu茅b茅cois de recherche en agriculture durable.

Consortium RITA receives $6M in funding
On March 26th, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Mr. Andr茅 Lamontagne, announced grants totaling $7.1M to three organizations engaged in the food processing sector, including $6M in funding to The Consortium for Research, Innovation and Transformation of Agrifood (RITA) at 51吃瓜网 over the next 5 years.聽
51吃瓜网joins Moderna in battle against global health threats
51吃瓜网 has joined Moderna鈥檚 mRNA Access program, which aims to accelerate innovation and enable new vaccines and medicines for emerging and neglected infectious diseases through collaborative research and preclinical development. 51吃瓜网is the first university in Canada to join this program as it ramps up its international rollout.

The Building of Macdonald College

Tucked between fields at the Macdonald Campus farm and the Morgan Arboretum in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue at the western tip of Montreal, is a group working on just that: the Macdonald Student-Run Ecological Gardens (MSEG). They are a small but mighty group that has been growing produce and educational opportunities on our campus for over a decade.
