 \nDr. Faika Çelik is a historian of the early modern and modern Middle Eas
 t\, with a particular focus on the history of the Ottoman Empire and moder
 n Türkiye. An alumnus of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø (Ph.D. in Islamic Studies)\, sh
 e currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Politica
 l Science and International Relations and as associate faculty in Women’s 
 Studies at Manisa Celal Bayar University. Her publications contribute to R
 omani Studies\, Women’s Studies\, and Oral History. She is a co-investigat
 or on the Türkiye Earthquake Memory Project\, a joint initiative of facult
 y from 51³Ô¹ÏÍø\, Université de Montréal\, and Manisa Celal Bayar
